Field Officer
Permanent, full or part time role.
This position is likely to be based in Templeton, Canterbury, but may be based in South Canterbury for the right candidate. The position will involve some travel.

We have an opportunity for a Field officer who will support our research team to deliver a comprehensive programme of research, development and extension that ensures a vibrant, profitable and sustainable arable industry.
The Foundation for Arable Research is an applied research and information transfer organisation responsible to New Zealand arable growers. As the Field Officer, you would conduct, manage and assess applied field-scale and small-plot arable agronomy and research trials. You would be expected to collate, input and manage trial data. The presentation of research findings back to farmers and other industry members may also be part of this role.
To be successful in this position, you will have relevant agronomy or cropping industry experience, a relevant tertiary agricultural qualification, and/or field research trial experience. You will be a self-starter and able to work in a team environment. It is a permanent, full-time or part-time (from 0.5 FTE, by negotiation) and has a salary in the range of $62,000 - $82,000.
